Spain arrived at the 2006 World Cup in Germany as one of the tournament’s most technically gifted sides - and at the heart of it all was a midfielder from Barcelona who would go on to redefine the position. Xavi Hernández wore #8 as Spain topped their group before falling to France in a classic round-of-16 encounter that ended 3-1. A bittersweet exit - but the foundation of something bigger was already being laid. Four years later, the world would understand exactly what Spain had been building.

This cycling jersey captures that 2006 kit in all its glory - the bold red of La Roja, the #8 on the back. Worn for the road. Built for the rider who knows that the best sides take time.

Prep the Garment: Close all zippers and fasteners, then turn the item inside out. This protects logos, prints, and prevents fasteners from rubbing against other clothes in the wash.

Washing: Wash by hand or in the machine on a lukewarm cycle (maximum 40°C / 104°F). Merino Wool items should be washed gently at 30°C

Separate if Possible: Wash cycling gear separately from rough fabrics like denim to prevent abrasion.

Detergent: Use a small amount of liquid detergent. Avoid powders, fabric softeners, stain removers, or bleach, as these can reduce garment performance.

Drying: Hang on a hanger or lay flat outdoors to dry. Avoid tumble drying, and do not iron, to maintain the life of the fabric and chamois. Merino wool items should be laid flat to dry
